Introduction
DMC Management Services, LLC (which sometimes is referred to in this Privacy
Statement as "we" or "us" and also is sometimes referred
to in this Privacy Statement as "DMC"), is committed to protecting
your privacy. You can visit most pages of our Web site without giving us
any information about yourself. However, we sometimes need information to
provide information or services that you request, and this privacy statement
explains how we collect and use information in those situations, as well
as certain information we collect regarding the use of our site in general.
Information
Collection and Use
The information made available to DMC falls into two categories: (1) information
you voluntarily supply to us, and (2) tracking information recorded as each
visitor navigates through our Web site.
We sometimes ask you for information that personally identifies you or that allows us to contact you. Our systems will remember some of this information the next time you use our Web site, but you can always change your information by going back to the pages where you originally entered it. Supplying personal information is entirely voluntary, but if you choose not to supply the information, we may not be able to respond to you and we may not be able to comply with a request you made. When you submit any personally identifying information over this Web site, DMC (1) will use the information for the purposes described at the time you submit it (for example, if you provide us with your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address when you request information about our services, we will use that information to respond to your request) and (2) may use the information to contact you to make you aware of other services or information. Of course, if you want to remain completely anonymous, you may still take advantage of the publicly available content on our Web site without registration.
DMC also collects and stores information about your computer hardware and software when you visit our Web site. This information may include the domain name from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site, and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked to our site. This information is used to measure the number of visitors to the various sections of our site and to help us make our site more useful to visitors.
To help make our site more responsive to the needs of our visitors, we use a standard feature of browser software called a "cookie." A cookie is a small file that a Web site transfers to your computer's hard disk (if your computer accepts cookies) to allow our server to "remember" specific information about your session while you are connected. The cookie doesn't identify you, but only identifies the particular computer session you used to access our Web site. Web beacons, also known as clear gif technology, or action tags, may be used to assist in delivering the cookie on our site; this technology tells us how many visitors clicked on key elements (such as links or graphics) on our Web site. We use cookies, including information from clear gif technology, to help us tailor our Web site to our visitors' needs, to deliver better, more personalized service, and to remember certain choices you’ve made so you don’t have to re-enter them. Cookies and information from clear gif technology are collected in aggregate form and never are linked with your personal information.
DMC may hire other companies to provide limited services on its behalf, including services relating to this Web site. DMC will only provide those companies with information they need to provide those services, and they will be prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
DMC may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or if DMC in good faith believes that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law or with legal process served on DMC or on its Web site; (b) protect and defend DMC's rights or property, or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of DMC employees, users of DMC's services, or members of the public.
